The "first photos of investiture" from inside Buckingham Palace.
On 7th October 1942 Captain Patrick Anthony Porteous was photographed receiving his Victoria Cross from King George at Buckingham Palace. These photographs were the first of their kind to be taken inside the palace.
Does anyone know where we can find them?
